Wallclock „Roman Numerals“
This is my second design of a clock face I published. The key features are full Roman numerals made from smocked oak that connect an inner ring to a concentric outer ring, both cut from birch plywood. I found it interesting that the serifs work as butterfly joints.
The drawing was made using Illustrator. Fusion360 helped to verify the design as it renders a representation before wasting valuable material. Still, I did a smaller version from plain birch (with stained numbers)
